Cucina Mia Cafe Restaurant

Had a great dinner at Cucina Mia with friends. The pasta was vey good and the seafood pizza was nice as well but sadly the pork fillet was too small. Average pay was $35 - a little bit expensive but acceptable.

Jonathan smashed it and Joel was pizza for starter and pasta for main was excellent. Such a good combination of flavours and so tasty. Will be back again.

The food was really nice. Very flavoursome and good size portions. The staff were ok, not the most prompt service but staff were friendly to deal with. The food however took so long to come out.

We waited for our food for over an hour. The food tasted amazing but the staff were rude and disrespectful towards customers. The interior decor was beautifully decorated and a nice warm presenence surrounded us. The food was great, with great secenery but unfortunately the staff were diabolical towards us. We were very disappointed in how long the food took to arrive. Be prepared to wait if choosing to dine here.

My partner,who is 65 and has been a lifetime vegetarian and myself,who is also mainly vegetarian, had dinner at the restaurant. We ordered the vegetarian pizza. I would just like to say that the vegetarian pizza we ordered was quite dismal. I don't think the chef has any idea about being vegetarian. Just because we don't eat meat does'nt mean that our meals are tasteless and boring. On the contrary,due to not eating meat our palettes are more sensitive to flavour. My vegetarian meals at home are usually really tasty with lots of variety. I would like to suggest that in addition to the marinated eggplant,capsicum and olives(of which there was'nt that much and mainly clumped towards the middle leaving a lot of outer crust with nothing on it except the tomato base),you could add,roasted pumpkin,mushrooms,bocconcini or feta and fresh herbs. What about vegans? For the money we paid we were not impressed and finished our meal feeling very let down. A few more vegetarian/vegan dishes on your menu would be appreciated,as there are a lot of us out there. Apart from that the service was excellent.

Nice place to sit down for a tasty Italian meal - best Italian I've had in a while! Also great take-away. Would definitely recommend this place

Love my Italian, when I found out this place did take away I was pretty happy. Food always a win for me here.

We found Cucina Mia by mistake, we enjoyed a great meal and great wine. The young girl working there said she had been there for many years. She was very familiar with the menu and wine list and provided a fabulous service. Very much looking forward to returning to this little gem.

Call to order some takeaway and I forget the name of the pizza so I just say the vegetarian one with basil, capsicum and olives and the woman says we have no vegetarian one like that, only one with anchovies. I tell her no, I have had it before than the rude woman laughs and says we have no such pizza. I hang up and look up the pizza. I was right. I called back, got no apologies for being laughed at or for her not knowing the menu. Pathetic. Never ever again.

We eat at Cucina Mia at least every two weeks and I order Veal Scallopini at least 90% of the time. I have NEVER had a bad meal from here. We have been going to this restaurant for the past 5 years. Best Italian and BEST Veal Scallopini ever. Thanks guys!

Great place to relax after work, great food

We had a craving for yummy Italian so ordered two veal scallopinis and it was awful. The vegetables were stir fry...not your standard Italian vegetables and the mashed potato was so salty we couldn't eat. We've had pasta here before and it was terrible. Will never eat there again and would recommend that no one else does too.

The takeaway pasta is fantastic, nice big portions. I live in Varsity, the restaurant is just off exit 82. Easy parking. I recommend them.

I found this place on my way to a friends place, and the take away food was absolutely delicious! Pizza was so fresh, and some beautiful pasta dishes on the menu too. I will definitely be back!
