Winter Sun Motel

Good clean motel. The rooms are always clean and they have fantastic carports. The male owner owner is nice and friendly and the motel is situated close to food and convenience stores.

Good for one night stopover if you're heading north or south. You will find it very close to the main highway. Rooms are pretty clean and tidy and very good shower with very comfy bed. Close to shopping centre ( 4 min. walk ) with multiple eating facilities. There are no cooking facilities in the unit but they do have microwaves. Great undercover vehicle parking right outside front doors. Reasonably quiet even though beside A1. Reasonably priced too.

Very comfortable queen beds in the room. Quite clean and conveniently located. The staff are nice to deal with, very welcoming upon arrival. Some rooms offer kitchens if required. If you come in a big group they also offer connecting rooms. Nice quick stroll to nearby restaurants. Very affordable.

A while back we popped in here for the night en-route to North Queensland had the kids with us so it was an unplanned stop and they happened to have a vacancy. Found the room to be very clean plus it was good value, staff were friendly and they directed us to a great place for dinner in walking distance. Was very happy we came here for the night and will return if we are down that way again.
