Founder and Master Instructor Hanshi Ian Pollet has more than 40 years experience in the martial arts industry and he leads a team of over 20 qualified instructors. Our male and female instructors have many years professional experience in both teaching and competing in the martial arts industry. All Pollet’s Martial Arts Centre full-time locations are amongst the best equipped Dojo’s in the country. Our 6 professional full time Martial Arts Centres are located in Bathurst, Orange, Dubbo, Granville, Penrith, Castle Hill, Newcastle and the Gold Coast in addition to part time facilities in Cudal, Spring Hill, Blayney, Grenfell, Forbes, Eugowra, Mullion Creek & Cowra – Pollet’s Martial Arts Centre is the largest Martial Arts organisation in the Central West. We run professional accredited grading systems in four different martial arts disciplines, Okinawan Karate, Okinawan Kobudo, Muay Thai and Kempo Jiu Jitsu. Our Black Belt students grades in Okinawan Karate and Kobudo are registered under the World Okinawan Karate and Kobudo Association in Okinawa and our Muay Thai grades are registered by the Royal Thai Government in Thailand.

The Dance Factory Performing Arts Centre Bathurst was founded in 2011 and is currently under the direction of Felicity King. Over the last 9 years, TDF has offered various styles including Jazz, Tap, Lyrical/Contemporary, ComDance Ballet, Pointe, Ballet Theory, Stretch & Strengthen, Hip Hop & Acro. In 2022 Felicity was fortunate enough to be announced as the Most Outstanding Young Business Leader in the 2022 Bathurst Business Awards! With highly dedicated and passionate staff and fully equipped studios, TDF is undoubtedly the place for anyone wanting to explore their imagination and creativity through dance in a welcoming and positive environment.

Established in 1928, the Bathurst RSL Club is an integral part of the Bathurst community. With more than 15,000 members, we are a social hub where people can gather for a wonderful meal and great entertainment in a warm and friendly environment. Refurbished in January 2019, locally owned and operated by Heath Smith, and Boston the Pub Pug, the Victoria Bathurst offers something for the whole crew. It is the ultimate hub for food, drink, arts, music, events & accommodation in the Central West. She’s an old pub, with old pub features, yet with a modern touch that’s not hell bent on being a smug hipster hangout. In either of the dining rooms and in the front bar, the walls are adorned in imagery conjured up by local artists. Smug hipsters are actually welcome. Karen’s are not. The Victoria is part-pub, restaurant, gallery, live music venue & boutique hotel. Each section of The Victoria has its own distinct style. The Victoria’s Publican Heath, is a chef by trade so you know the food on offer is top notch. Menu items consist of high quality starters and share snacks, the very popular Queenie’s Classics, right through to restaurant quality fair. The Vic also caters for Vegans and Crossfitters so You’ll have no issues spotting them, they’ll let you know they are about. Assist you celiac’s in your war on gluten. Upstairs from the pub, The Victoria houses 19 freshly renovated rooms that range from your lock stock single room and TV, all the way up to your Family sized room with all amenities, additional foldout couch and ensuite, all with room service. Little Alberts is a roomy, yet intimate live music joint with it’s own front door access that is custom made for live entertainment, private functions and all sorts of get-together. Sporting it’s own bar, this room has featured some of this countries finest musicians, featuring both original artists and tribute performances honouring some of history’s greatest works.
