Woden Early Childhood Centre is a community-based not for profit care and education service. We are a 63-place child care centre offering part-time and full-time care for children from birth through to school age. There are four rooms that are roughly divided into age groups. Children are moved up when they are ready to venture into the next room and families feel they are ready. Care is offered on a weekly or a mix of daily care to meet family needs, however where possible we recommend consecutive care days; as we believe this encourages children to develop a strong sense of belonging, confidence and independence, which leads to stronger social, emotional and learning experiences.
