Oxley Community Transport Service Inc provides transport for the frail, aged and elderly in Tamworth, Quirindi, Barraba and Manilla and surrounding areas. Our fleet 3 wheelchair accessible buses, 1 sedan and 6 midrange 4WDs is available to accommodate a full range of door-to-door transport services. From doing grocery shopping to attending medical appointments, we keep regular consultation with our passengers to ensure our service is responsive to those needs. To keep active and involved in the local community, we organise regular social outings to places such as Armidale, Willow Tree, Gunnedah and even a movie day. These outings are planned every 6 weeks, so contact our friendly office staff to find out more. Dr. Emma Moffatt, a dedicated and experienced physician and a proud community member, leads our clinic. Originally a registered nurse and midwife, Dr. Emma completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland. She has a rich background in the medical field, having worked across New South Wales and now serving the New England/Northwest region since 2014. In 2018, Dr. Emma fulfilled her lifelong dream of owning a rural G.P. practice, finding the perfect fit with our clinic in Manilla. Here, she enjoys the diverse range of medical cases she encounters daily, continuous learning opportunities, and the privilege of caring for patients from admission to discharge. Dr. Emma is a certified DAME in aviation medicine and is particularly interested in aged care and palliative care, medical leadership, and chronic disease management. Our clinic offers various services, including general health check-ups, mental health support, vaccinations, minor surgery, skin checks, aviation medicals, women’s health services, and chronic disease management.
