The Cannonvale Swim Centre offers 7 levels of squad training for children. Squad training is children who can swim 4 x 25m of Freestyle and Backstroke. Squad training is not just for competitive swimmers. During these sessions, swimmers will learn the 4 swimming strokes & IMs and enhance their technique. Swimmers will learn about starts, turns and finishes. They will also learn about lane etiquette, how to read the time clock and swimming terms eg PB. Swimming is a great way to build cardiovascular fitness and to have fun. New swimmers must complete a free assessment.
