We provide an early childhood program that meets each child's social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs, with a stimulating environment with experiences and materials that can be explored at the child's own pace. Our centre was purpose-built for day care and it encompasses a large natural outdoor area for children to enjoy. At Bumblebee Early Education Centre, three large rooms are used to divide children into developmental and age appropriate groups: baby and toddler room (6 weeks - 2 years); toddler and pre-school room (2 - 3 years) and pre-school and prep room (3 - 6 years). Our Goonellabah child care centre hours of operation allow for working parents needing early starts or late finishes. All staff are committed to ongoing development in their child care qualifications and our chef prepares meals daily, using fresh local ingredients in accordance with our balanced nutrition policies. We also have a qualified music teacher on staff. The centre operates under regulations and guidelines set down by Early Childhood Education and Care Directorate working within the National Quality Standard. We teach from the Early Years Learning Framework, as well as incorporating environmentally friendly programs and daily physical activity programs.
