Dan Davie is an Artist Blacksmith and Sculptor. He is the creator of a large range of hand forged sculpture and metal artwork which includes knives, gates, trophies, balustrades and swords and very large life size sculptures like horse and rider, Emu and Miners and the like. Handmade life like metal sculpture for both inside and out. Dan is a two time World Champion Creative Blacksmith. Dan can also turn marble in to life life sculpture for Memorials for both inside and out.

The diverse ecology of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, is my inspiration to create mainly mixed medium expressionistic work using mark-making as a means of conveying the sensitivity of the work. My career has been in Marketing and Advertising working Internationally. After emigrating to Australia 16 years ago whilst working as a Business Consultant I studied Visual Art part-time. After several years of formal studies my career evolved into a full time occupation - furthering studies in ceramics, print-making and life drawing. The People's Ink was created by Ryan and Astrid in 2017. They joined forces and merged their creativity and business skills to create the studio they felt was missing from the industry. They wanted to create a tattoo studio that was unlike any other on the Sunshine Coast. It is light filled, adorned with greenery and has a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. They wanted a space that people could feel at ease and be completely themselves. A safe space. A family friendly space. A space to express and be creative in. The People's ink motto is "Creating for the People". This expresses how they collaborate and work alongside their clients to create the tattoo they are dreaming up and to make sure the design is something they are truly happy with and can wear with pride. The People's Ink is an intentional studio that acknowledges and honours all the different life paths and journeys people are on. They understand and respect the intimacy of getting tattooed and the courage it takes to commit to permanent body markings. Ryan and Astrid live among the Yandina community on 65 acres of land with their four children, cat and chickens. They spend their free time with their family at the local waterfalls, hiking forest trails and surfing Noosa's famous coastline. The studio is a refection of their connection with nature and their love for the beauty in wild things.

A home to come hold and see in person the magic I create. Situated on the beautiful Maroochy River on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. The Birdcatcher Gallery is brimming with creations that I have made myself. I sell signed copies of my poetry books and I also create ceramics with my poems inscribed in them. There are magical fairies and abstract art that is bright and beautiful. What I make is unique and comes from my heart.
