On Wed 1 Feb I drove into the Woden Plaza underground carpark and discovered I had a flat rear right tyre. NRMA fixed it up with my half/spare and I limped the car to Bridgestone Phillip, where I had bought four new tyres about 6 months ago. I drove in at close to closing time. The greeting and service I received were exemplary. I actually felt that they were my friends and were glad to see me. The team gave my wife and me a cup of coffee, they repaired the tyre (nail in tread), checked ALL tyres, put away the half-tyre neatly and set us on our way within minutes. AND they didn't charge me a cent. Fantastic. I highly recommend the team at Bridgestone Phillip.

Mark Was the Chair of the local branch of the Australian Electric Vehicle Association and is still an active business member. In 2015, Mark established the local dealership for Fourstar and Raptor electric vehicles and Electric Vehicles Canberra was born. Mark Hemmingsen, a seasoned electrician boasting over a quarter-century of hands-on experience in Canberra’s electrical landscape. With a rich history spanning more than 30 years, Mark has not only been a cornerstone in the electrical field but has also dedicated a decade to imparting knowledge at the Canberra Institute of Technology. Since 2008, Mark has been driving the evolution of the electric vehicle (EV) sector in Canberra. His passion for sustainable transportation led him to spearhead an electric vehicle conversion course, a testament to his commitment to the green revolution. Previously serving as the Chair for Canberra’s branch of the Australian Electric Vehicle Association, Mark remains an influential figure and active business member in the EV community. In a pivotal move in 2015, Mark took his dedication a step further. He inaugurated the local dealership for renowned brands like Fourstar and Raptor electric vehicles. Thus, Electric Vehicles Canberra emerged, solidifying its place as a beacon for electric mobility in the region. Welcome to Stay Tuned! Our journey began with Damian Lomax, whose motorsport career fueled a passion for performance vehicles. Starting in his father-in-law's backyard, Damian applied his extensive motorsport experience to tuning cars, 4WDs, and trucks. By mid-2020, what started as a part-time hobby had transformed into a thriving business. Damian decided to dive in head first and acquire a dedicated premises and hire full time staff. He shared his idea with his business partner Tony, who also loves cars and had traded a few cars with Damian. Not for the first time, a handshake turned Stay Tuned into a serious business. Fortune favours the brave and we lucked into a massive workshop in Fyshwick ACT with a highly supportive vendor who agreed it was time to clear out 135 large skip bins of parts and consumables left over from 50 years of truck maintenance.
