My 1985 Mazda van had fuses blowing, would'nt start sometimes, low headlights, couldn't see my dashboard lights, even a wire short small fire. From Ballina to Byron bay three electrical mechanical couldn't fix it. Rod stayed back until 7:00pm. and sourced the problem and allowed me to continue on my holiday, l am most grateful. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Tyson, an incredibly friendly and attentive staff member, who promptly inspected the tire. He immediately searched for the best and most affordable replacement tire in the office and offered to install it right away. Ten minutes later, the tire was on, and I was back on the road. Not only was the job done swiftly and with the utmost professionalism, but I also received recommendations on where to stop next. The experience was beyond excellent. From the very start, I could tell I was dealing with the best out there. The sales process was amazing, talked through all options and was able to easily quote after a site inspection on site. I had some other quotes at the same time, but they just wanted to sell me cheaper cookie-cutter systems and really didn't explain the process or what would work best for us. Scott from Scott Black Solar however was great and knew what we needed after some discussions about our circumstances. He was able to recommend what we should be looking for and what pitfalls to avoid. Installation was made easy by the guy's Dan and Cam I think it was more painful to deal with me but the team really put in the effort, even though like I said it was not a conventional residential setup they worked through it all with ease. I've heard some really bad stories out there from people that have had newer solar systems installed. However not here, I highly recommend Scott Black Solar and the team!

I was travelling through Emerald in March 2023 when my Mitsubishi van blew its head gasket and we later observed that the head was also cracked. Nobody else in Emerald wanted to start such a major repair than CQ Tyres and Mechanical. They went to extensive length to repair it and then also fix the problem which caused the damage. I was very pleasantly surprised that the young team there did a good job, more professional than old mechanics who misdiagnosed the problem. I am now back in Brisbane and the car worked fine, while I was also happy with the good and inexpensive job done by CQ Tyres and Mechanical. I warmly recommend them and I thank them kindly!
