Dr Jessica Featherston (Osteopath) studied Osteopathy at Victoria University, Melbourne. She completed her Bachelor of Clinical Science in 2003 and a Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy) in 2005. In 2007 Jessica relocated from Melbourne to the Sunshine Coast, working in Caloundra for 4 years. In 2010 Jessica opened Bodyworks Osteopathy in Maroochydore and has been working in Buddina since 2013. In July 2016 Bodyworks Osteopathy has relocated to Golden Beach (Caloundra). Jessica has completed further studies in Trigger Point Dry Needling and Pilates Rehabilitation. She also has a special interest in pre and post natal care, and is currently expanding her studies and treatment into paediatric care. Jessica treats not only back and neck injuries but a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, with a keen interest in Sports Injuries after working in Melbourne at several football clubs as a Sports Trainer and Osteopath. Jessica enjoys treating a wide range of patients from children to the elderly, and adapts her approach to suit each individual. She uses a wide range of techniques including spinal mobilisation, manipulation, ultrasound and soft tissue massage and stretching. Jessica believes in treating the patient with a holistic approach, making sure to get the full picture. She also encourages use of at home stretching and exercise programs, whilst also offering ergonomic and postural advice.

The Sunshine Coast Churches Soccer Association Inc was established on 14th September 1974 and became incorporated on 18th November 1988. The need of a Saturday soccer competition had been seen by various churches for some time. In mid 1974 representatives from churches were invited to an informal discussion and an association was established. The Association covered from Caloundra to Cooroy-Noosa, recruiting got under way to form two competitions one being an under 10 years and the other an under 13 years, starting with approximately 140 playing members. Today we have over 2600 junior members and 350 senior male and female players. We foster the opportunity for players to participate and develop their skills in soccer in a safe alcohol and drug free environment on Friday nights and Saturdays. We have 19 clubs covering the entire Sunshine Coast region from Caloundra to Noosa and west to Nambour and the range.

Our training courses are open to the public with classes running from the varying training rooms. We offer businesses, clubs and school tailored courses to suit their range of needs. ASSIST Training instructors have extensive experience in the practice and demonstration of first aid procedures though the coverage program and pride themselves with hands on knowledge of first aid.
