Dundee Downs Bush Resort is a friendly little hideaway just over an hour from Darwin. The resort is a small family run business set in a natural outback bush setting and is located about 20 km from Dundee Beach. We offer bush cabins, campsites and easy access to the secret fishing spots around Dundee. Owner-operators Georgina and Bob Bell provide good old fashion bush hospitality to both locals and travellers. For the keen fishermen and crabber, "Six-Pack Creek" boat ramp is near by for easy access to the sheltered waterways, making it ideal fishing for car-toppers and dinghys. For the off-shore adventurer, the boat ramp is only 6km from the mouth which provides an opportunity to fish around Bynoe Harbour, Quail Island, Indian Island and Bare Sandy Island.

We are a brand new tourist park located on the Stuart Highway, Noonamah approximately a 40 minute drive from Darwin. Surrounded by a lovely rural setting our tourist park and tavern offer a variety of services and accommodation options including motel rooms, powered caravan sites, and camping sites.

Jumping crocodile cruises on the Adelaide River as we know them today were begun in the 1970s with Stefan’s River Safaris, started by ex-croc hunter Stefan Sebesken when he began to take tourists onto the river on his boat, the Daniella. Stefan entertained his tour guests with his resident crocodile pal, Shonky, by feeding him from his boat and jetty, eventually realising that Shonky was able to jump out of the water for food. Stefan’s River Safaris operated from the area where the current public boat ramp is today, next to the Adelaide River bridge.

We will provide modern plate aluminium boats for fishing and pleasure. All boats are side consol which provides plenty of floor space and a stable fishing platform. With a quiet four-stroke power, safe, reliable and economical. You can trailer our boats to your choice of fishing Darwin - Bynoe harbours across to Mandorah, Mantom Dam to Arnhem Land and lots in between.
