Hired a mulcher from JC Hire Nambour on the weekend. The guys were friendly and easy to deal with. Had the mulcher delivered & collected for a small charge (we don’t have a tow bar), the guy showed us how it worked, very straight-forward and we mulched the weekend away. Super happy with the entire service. I called and left a voicemail (naturally, as Sandy was working at the time of my call), left details regarding the job, and he called back that day. There was availability the following day, that worked well for me, and we agreed on early start. Sandy send an SMS advising of his arrival time, and promptly started work on arrival. The work consisted of bush clearing (Montville rainforest vines and the usual shrubbery). Essentially, I directed him to the areas requiring clearing, and Sandy complied with eagerness. We continued that trend until the bush clearing was done, also, we had 4 pot plant holes dug with the auger. Some areas needed the soil to be profiled (levelled/evened out the soil ready for a lawn). Overall experience 10 out of 10. I have planned future work for Sandy (1 acre, plenty of cleaning up!), and have no hesitations on repeat service. Cheers! Michael B

BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS We needed a retaining wall at the rear of the house replacing from old rotten railway sleepers to new concrete timber look sleepers. To be honest everyone we had look at the job didn't quite do it for me. Then a local builder suggested someone we hadn't heard of and Neil Pascoe came to look at the job. Immediately he was positive, there was no issues and my Intuition is always right. I said to my wife "we have just found the right person to do our wall" They had a client booked in however they asked if they could delay it as something had cropped up and on the off chance they rang us to say are you available this week. To repair a burst water pipe connection I hired a concrete cutter for half a day. Before I could return home a plumber had arrived and assessed that it would not be necessary to cut through a concrete path, and proceeded to fix the leak. Two hours after I had hired the concrete cutter I returned to Kawana Hire to return the it, and mentioned that as I had not needed to use the cutter, it would not need servicing. I was not seeking a refund of the hire fee, but after a brief inspection of the cutter the proprietors offered to refund in full the hire fee. While I have been a irregular client for many years, I was very pleasantly surprised with the offer, and will continue to patronise the business when I need machinery.
