It’s not one size fits all! You will experience a firm massage if that’s what’s needed. I will know when I’m working on your body and talking to you, what your body needs. It may be hot stones, cupping or a firm massage versus a deep tissue approach, finished off with Kinetic tape if needed.

Hi my name is Louwrens. I am a registered soft tissue therapist with over sixteen years of experience, certified in Bowen Therapy & The Emmett Technique. I am fully committed to helping you improve your health, whether in response to an injury, ongoing pain or a search for greater wellness. The treatments I offer are designed to manage and minimise pain and promote relaxation and reconnection to self. It is through listening to my clients and observing their alignment and the way they move that I can feel and interpret the subtle indications of imbalance in the body. By being receptive to all the indicators your body provides, my aim is to deliver a treatement that ensures there are noticeable improvements. Bowen & Emmett can be done as stand-alone treatements with great success, however I have found that the integration of Bowen & Emmet allow you to discover a faster way to ease pain and improve your treatement with results you may not have achieved before. This combination of therapies is results driven and is adapted to the clients individual needs. Most clients feel dramatic results before they leave the clinic but the process will continue to work for quite some time later.

About Bowen Therapy Bowen Therapy is named after the Australian man who created the technique in the 1950's. With no formal bodywork training Tom Bowen created a series of gentle soft tissue moves performed on the body on specific muscles, joints, nerve points and tendons which were able to relieve his clients of pain and imbalance within a few short treatments. He began a part time clinic alongside his 9-5 job and this quickly grew into a full-time practice for him. He spent a long time working with a select few individuals who worked to help him document his work so his discoveries could be taught to others and so many more people could benefit from his amazing work.
