The treatments I offer are designed to manage and minimise pain and promote relaxation and reconnection to self. About Bowen Therapy Bowen Therapy is named after the Australian man who created the technique in the 1950's. With no formal bodywork training Tom Bowen created a series of gentle soft tissue moves performed on the body on specific muscles, joints, nerve points and tendons which were able to relieve his clients of pain and imbalance within a few short treatments. He began a part time clinic alongside his 9-5 job and this quickly grew into a full-time practice for him.
