I photograph newborns, families, portraiture and events and also offer commercial photography and graphic design services. What I love the most is photographing people. People of all walks of life. Wedding, Elopement & Family Photographers, based near Wollongong, NSW. We’re based on the South Coast, just south of beautiful coastal Wollongong, NSW. We were both born & raised within the Illawarra region and our wedding was held in the area too. It really is such a beautiful part of Australia! We share our lives with our mini dachshund named Winston, who never ceases to bring a smile to our faces and is the cutest distraction! I am behind the lens of Sol Flare Photography. I am an Illawarra girl, born and raised in Wollongong. I am a single Mamma, a singer, pianist and very average guitarist. I love all things creative, but most of all, I love capturing and making art from your precious memories. Having spent 10 years in Marketing Roles, I learned quickly the value of great photography….and I was hooked on it. I loved the idea that you could tell a story with an image, be it a brand, a family or a couple’s story, without saying a word. Say it, without saying it! I taught myself everything I know and am relentlessly driven to learn more every day….my cameras never leave my car and if there’s a pretty sunset, you betcha I pull over for a snap! I’m a bit of a wildflower and a bit uncooth…and I regularly trip over my own feet…but I think that’s why you’ll love me. I will make you laugh, do silly things and have fun during your shoot.
