Early this year I was introduced to the 'joys' of Xero accounting systems by Sandra Magan of Seachange Accounting. Once my main business was set up in Xero by Sandra, I have found it so easy to use and requires so little time, I actually enjoy the thought sitting down for a short time each month to 'play' with it. The Xero app for your phone that photographs your receipts then allocates them into your records is brilliant ! Sandra's positive, professional and easy manner has ensured 'tax' and everything to do with it's completion are no longer my main business black hole ! I would highly recommend Sandra Magan at Seachange Accounting !

Not your typical accountant. While most accountants will 'do the job' for you year after year (and take a fee year after year), Ellen from Farm and Town Accounting Services takes an entirely different approach. Ellen has taught me how to manager my tax affairs by myself, by providing the relevant information required in 'bite sized' chunks. For every question I had (and there were many), Ellen was able to provide the required information quickly and succinctly - there was no need for me to spend hours researching the numerous complex topics of tax accounting, Ellen did all this for me and provided me with just the relevant information so I could complete the ATO requirements. If you are the sort of person that likes to take the 'DIY' route to tackling projects - I can't recommend Ellen from Farm and Town Accounting Services highly enough. You'll not only be able to complete the requirements set out by the ATO but develop a better understanding in the process.
