Featured Reviews of the Best Cafes in Banora Point

4.6 Average Rating based on 27 reviews from 11 Cafes near Banora Point

Came with a wide range in age from 13 to 83. I made a lot of research before confirming to come to this tour. We stayed on the Gold Coast and it took about 45 minutes to get to Tweed Head. The tour started at 9:30am and lasts for just for 2 hours. Its not worthwhile to just come to this tour, that's why I wanted to have lunch in their restaurant too. Given the diverse age and menu preference, I made reservation directly. Email response was fast. There were a lot to do on the cruise in that 2 hours: pelican feeding, yabbies pumping, crab trap pulling and then fishing. En-route, we saw the bat habitat. Scenery around the area was nice. Personally, I think they should give us 30 more minutes. After coming back onshore, they gave a brief introduction on oyster farming. We had lunch at the restaurant after the tour. Food was great there. Oysters and crabs were fresh. They were also cooked well. We ordered the special crab in chilli sauce which was excellent!

Catch a Crab

They serve amazing food which is well priced and its such a relaxing atmosphere. Very French inspired instead of a boring food court type. It's outside of centre. I go at least twice a week. The menu is always changing to something yummy. OK for dining alone with attentive staff.

Ginger Root Cafe

We where staying at a caravan park in walking distance from this cafe. We had been once before, and decided to go here for Breakfast. The minute you walk in the door, you are greeted like family. First impressions great staff. We ordered the veggie breakfast with bacon. Wow all fresh ingredients Avocado, spinach, mushrooms, tomato. Poached eggs and our bacon with Toasted Turkish bread. Very good size meals. Everything that needed cooking was cooked to perfection including the toast. Excellent service, excellent food. Sitting under cover overlooking the Tweed River. Also some hand made jewellery made by Sonia who is a staff member absolutely recommend this cafe
