Whether you've never surfed before, or you want to learn some new skills and techniques, Learn to Surf Noosa can assist you. We are Noosa's only licensed surf school. Want to learn how to surf? We run two lessons daily, at 9:30am and 1:30pm, so you can do it at a time that suits you. All classes are two hours of surfing lessons. Our head coach is a former world and Australian champion with a team of world-class surfing instructors. We cater to all skill levels with one, three and five day courses available ranging from beginner through to advanced. All lessons are fun, safe and easy, with fully qualified instructors allowing you to learn in waist deep water. Kayak the beautiful Mary River or Yabba Creek and take in the breathtaking scenery! The river winds through patches of rainforest, eucalypt forest and open farm land. Take a dawn kayak for a chance to see the elusive Platypus as the sun breaks through the early morning mist, revealing the hills and mountains of the Mary Valley. Kayak with dinosaurs - the vulnerable listed Qld Lungfish goes back in history 350 million years. Look out for the equally endangered 'Bum breathing punk' Mary River Turtle both indigenous to the Mary River and it's tributaries. Spot the colourful Kingfishers as they follow you down the creek. See what other wildlife you can identify! Hire bikes and explore the local forest and waterfalls with custom made maps. Maybe try spotting a Koala or listening out for the Bell Birds on the newly opened Mary Valley Rail Trail. Whatever you choose you will have an experience worth remembering. We run our tours daily departing Rainbow Beach & Noosa, QLD, Australia. Tours involve a 4wd beach adventure to the magical Double Island Point, a long sandy point break only accessible by 4wd. The area offers amazingly long easy waves to learn to surf on as well as an abundance of wildlife including dolphin pods, whales, turtles, manta rays, sting rays, soldier crabs in their thousands and many migrating and local sea birds. Double Island Point, Rainbow beach & Noosa also caters well for kitesurfing. We also run Dolphin view kayak tours. These run all year round as there is some 400+ dolphins living in the area. Chances to see dolphins on tour are high (90%) with likely chances to also see turtles, whales (june- october), manta rays, sea birds, soldier crabs in their thousands. If your a nature lover this is the tour for you. Most tours run early in the morning or late afternoon (sunset tours) as this is when marine life is at its most active. Tours run for 3hrs approx.
