The late Phil Buckland founded Buckland Auto Electrical in 1968. Over time, BAE has grown to become a major player in the auto electrical industry across Wollongong, the Southern Highlands, and outer regions of Sydney. After Phil Buckland's passing in 1976, Ian Buckley, a close friend, purchased the company. As the director of Buckley's Plant Maintenance, Ian relocated the business to Unanderra while maintaining its excellent setup.
