Excellent service! I was on a trip from Cairns to Brisbane and was hit with a DPF full error. Toyota Mackay was unhelpful. After calling about 8 mechanics (all full) I was referred to Peter at Mackay Car and Commercial who offered to look at the car first thing in the morning. Got me back on the road after an hour. Highly recommended - low prices, fast service and very accommodating mechanic in Mackay.

We had a major issue with our motor home and nobody could help us in Proserpine. Ash the owner of Whitsunday Mechanical Services was the only one that was prepared to help us. I was unlucky enough to blow an injector on the 16th November in Mackay...the RACQ were quick on the job to take us both home Monday morning I was looking for a roving diesel mechanic and at one phone call a man said"I will get someone to call round to have a look". At 4.30 that evening a man arrived...Ashley Pala. He reassured me"nothing to it Pat,see you at 7.30 Tuesday" He arrived,fully tooled up,removed said blown injector, took it back to his workshop on Connors road,was back in 15minutes,had the injector full back in place,and was gone by 8.30 with my Citroen not sounding like a chaff cutter but as smooth as,better than expected. This man is a genius and had me at the work shop to thourally clean my engine and engine bay to bring it back to showroom condition. A master technician. Thank you Ashley.
