Within an environment of safety, understanding and support, clients are able to take time out from the pace of everyday life and explore issues that are affecting them personally. Clients can use this time to find reasons for why they are the way they are, and why they may react to certain situations in the way that they do. I personally look after clients from first telephone contact to the end of counselling. I still love my profession after 20 years. I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker. I am a Medicare, Dept of Veteran Affairs, NDIS, WorkCover provider. Medicare rebates available to clients with a Gp referral. I assist clients tackle problems they face, for example, depression, anxiety, stress, grief and loss, parenting, relationships and workplace issues. I offer a mobile service to the aged person unable to attend a centre. I provide flexibility and offer after hours appointments for those who work 9 to 5. I also offer a "walk and talk" option for mums and bubs or for those who would like this option.
