Since its beginning in 1919, the Bundaberg RSL Sub Branch has stood shoulder to shoulder with Queensland’s Defence family. Over the past 100+ years, we have proudly upheld our Objects. We are veterans helping veterans, united in our desire to champion the rights of all veterans. Our mission is to provide care, commemoration and camaraderie to enable veterans and their families to live with dignity and respect – it is our guiding light and underpins all that we do. Carinbundi is the trading name of Burnett Respite Services Ltd. We are a community-based organisation formed in 1994 by a small group of families who had children/loved ones with disabilities. These families couldn’t get a break, so we set up a respite facility. As a not-for-profit organisation, we provide support and regular respite for People living with a disability. Throughout our many years of operation, we have built a range of tailored programs for residents of Bundaberg and surrounds. As a specialist disability provider, our highly-trained staff have specialised skills and experience in Supported Independent Living (SIL) and challenging behaviours.
