ACSO has expanded over 35 years to deliver services across the eastern seaboard for the intellectually disabled, peopling with mental illness, alcohol and other drug problems, offenders and people with long term unemployment. With a staff of over 440 and an annual turnover of approximately $50m in 2019, ACSO is now a leading Australian NFP, delivering more than 20 life changing programs to approximately 20,000 people a year. The Opportunity Shop stocks quality pre-loved clothing, shoes, sporting goods, manchester and a large range of household goods from bric-a-brac to larger pieces of furniture. You can always find a wonderful novel or children’s story from the extensive book collection. Recycling quality donations provided by a generous community repurposed many items which find a new home. Like all Opportunity Shops ‘if you would be willing to give the item to your family member’, than GV Hospice would also welcome the item.
