East Maitland Dance Headquarters is a prime school candidate that offers dancing lessons for beginners. We also offer advanced instruction to those seeking to learn new styles and elevate their dancing to a new level. We are amongst the few dance schools in Maitland which offer a wide array of lessons in varying dance styles. Our classes are handled by experienced teachers who have more than 30 years of combined experience in dancing as a performing art. Beginners, including toddlers, can learn to dance in Maitland through our classical ballet program. We offer a program where aspiring ballerinas can learn the basics of deportment, posture and grace. East Maitland Dance Headquarters also teaches modern contemporary dance based on the technical aspects of classical ballet. We also have expert mentors on lyrical dancing, hip-hop and jazz. It also makes us proud to be one of the selected dance schools in Maitland which has a syllabus for children aged between three and six years old. These kids can learn to dance under our jazz and tap dancing lessons. For this age group, we also have ballet lessons, which is a great way for kids to improve their fitness while having fun. In addition, we have lessons in rhythmic gymnastics and cheerleading as well as burlesque and cabaret dance training for adults. East Maitland Dance Headquarters prides itself as one of the dance schools in Maitland that offers special programs for persons with disability. We offer a Living Proof program that includes dance classes and other artistic activities such as singing and exercises.

Groove Dance Productions specialize in Hip Hop, Cheerleading, Classical and Tap classes and we are constantly updating our dance styles. We also have a number of boys in the studio due to the contemporary style the studio offers. Groove Dance Productions originated in 2005 and is a family operated dance studio.

We are celebrating our 25th year of Maxi-Jazz in 2012!! Maxi-Jazz Dance Studio was established in 1987. Ylanda and Maxine Johnson, owner & principal's of Maxi-Jazz, make sure that the studio has a fun, positive environment for all students of all ages. We have professional and dedicated teachers who make sure that every student has the best experience possible. Whether you want to dance for fitness and fun or to have a professional dance career, Maxi-Jazz has classes to suit everyone. All of our classes are taught by professional, experienced, qualified and dedicated teachers. Most of our classes focus on learning routines for our end of year performance normally held late November. However, we also offer classes just for fitness and fun! NO concert, NO commitments and No costumes!
