Pied Piper Preschool first opened over 50 years ago, and has been an important and much-loved part of the Wallerawang community ever since. We’ve been in our current lovely building (which was constructed by the community) since 1991, with the playground undergoing a wonderful renovation in 2013. The preschool sits atop the hill in Wallerawang, with fantastic views over Lake Wallace (Wang Dam). We provide high quality preschool education for children aged 3-5 years. We also provide a 2 year old session for younger children on Friday mornings. We follow the Australian Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) which has learning through play and relationships at its foundation. Yarrawong Preschool and Early Education Centre is located in a quiet cul de sac in Bel Air, West Orange. Yarrawong has a large, well-equipped natural playground that has the benefit of lots of shade trees and backs onto a nature reserve. The centre’s natural setting has been instrumental in the success of providing a well-recognised sustainability and environmental education program. We are currently licensed for 61 children between the ages of six weeks to school age. Children are provided with nutritious meals at morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea that are prepared onsite by a qualified cook, and cater to all individual dietary needs. Nappies, sunscreen and hats are provided for families.
