Medical Surgery.

Stuart Park Surgery is a medical clinic providing all general practice services covering families, women's health, men's health, children and the elderly. We also provide treatment and management of work injuries and other workers compensation matters. Services include contraceptive advice, pregnancy tests, antenatal care, pap smears, skin checks, removal of skin cancers, pre-employment work medicals, travel vaccinations (excluding yellow fever), flu and other vaccinations, spirometry, ECG, audiometry, and instant drug screening. We do not prescribe tranquillisers or drugs of addiction to addicted individuals. Stuart Park Surgery, located in the Westralia Street Shopping Centre, was established by Dr Ted Giblin in 1975 and moved to its present location in 1981. Dr David Welch, the practice principal, has worked at the surgery since 1982, and we have been an accredited teaching practice for doctors and nurses since 1984. We also have quality assessment accreditation with AGPAL - Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited. Our regular doctors are: Dr Kim Manias, Dr Brian Cluney, Dr Jamila Priore, Dr Sajeel Samjowan, Dr Darshani Wijayaratne and Dr Aruna Wijayaratne. Our Darwin After Hours Medical Service is open 9am to 3pm on weekends and public holidays. We closed our weeknight clinics mid-year 2015 due to the reduced demand for this service. Children under 16 and Commonwealth Aged Pensioners with a valid card are bulk billed.
