Our owner and manager, Rick Verbruggen, started his apprenticeship here in 1977. In 1979, his father, Jack, a toolmaker by trade, bought the business and the rest is history, as they say. Rick is still hands on with the tools, and has seen many changes, from concentrating on making farming implements, to heavy involvement with the fishing industry and of recent years in the building industry. Rick and our team are fully experienced in all areas of general welding, repairs and steel requirements for the general public and businesses alike.
