Born in Miranda, Australia on 1st October 1992 and growing globally, we’re named after the Jamaica Blue Mountains, widely regarded as home of the best coffee in the world. Whilst an international brand, we are locally owned and operated and thus have a strong love for our local community and giving back. So much so, we have partnered with ALIVE, a social enterprise who provide suicide prevention programs in our local communities that build Resilience, Connection and Wellbeing that young people love. We have great seating options, perfect coffee, seriously good food and refreshing service for any feeling, any occasion and any excuse to escape and refresh with us. For over 30 years we've been sourcing, sampling, roasting and delivering the most extraordinary coffee available on the market. Coffee is woven into the Merlo family history, originating in Luigi Merlo's Trattoria in Italy over 50 years ago. Now with 17 flagship cafes and more than 1,500 café partners Australia-wide, Merlo is proud to be one of Australia's leading independently owned and operated coffee roasters.

We are a micro-roastery located in Toowoomba, Queensland. We have partnered with select green coffee importers who focus on sourcing coffees according to their seasonality, sustainability and taste. This ensures we have amazing coffee all year round and in the future as well. We are also passionate about how we roast our coffee, constantly trying to improve our roast profiles and deliver coffee that is true to its origin.
