at the entry counter the man was very loud and unpleasant . the zoo itself needs some upgrade but understandable after all the rain and covid. the service at the food counter was a disgrace as people waited for an hour to get a cup of tea / a muffin /a wrap/a milkshake. the ice-cream counter was not open to order so people were waiting there for nothing .Why when you got that many poeple to serve sorry but this day was disappointing to us .

I am a long term customer and their services make my day while I then serve breakfast lunch in aged care. While they look after me at 6am each day I then am able to care better for elderly and put their needs first...local families looking after families..how lucky are we to have this professional business in wauchope. Always friendly esp during covid they nutured everyone with their delights and amazing coffee. If a barista praises and I'm a nutritional food cook then it must be good..another day in paradise thanks team..grandkids luv it too esp before school

I took my mother to the Old Butter Factory for lunch a few months ago and had the most amazing slow roasted lamb shoulder. She had Barramundi and said it was excellent. They have a new roof over all of the outside dining area now which makes it truly an all weather venue and it was a hot day when we went, and much cooler on that day than on previous visits. What a great idea to install the roofing as it is definately more appealing to sit outside when it is hot but not uncomfortable.

Very disappointed with the food …. We were certainly hoping for an improvement with the new ownership… ceaser salad with no egg? Steak was tough and not cooked to order…. On the bright side the drinks were great overall the experience was disappointing
