Forster Gas delivers LPG cylinders to the greater Forster region. We sell, service and repair all gas appliances from barbecues to commercial kitchens and everything in between. Because we have a licensed gasfitter, Forster Gas also provides full installation, from the regulator to the appliance. In 2009 Andrew and Josie Johnson bought McQuillan's Forster Gas as a small, two to three day per week, gas distribution business. With competitive gas prices and friendly personal service, our gas sales have steadily grown. In 2010 we shortened the business name to Forster Gas and purchased a second, larger truck to keep up with the increased demand. In 2010 we decided to add extra services to our portfolio by utilising Andrew's qualifications and experience as a plumber and gasfitter, we extended our business to incorporate appliance installation, repair and servicing. By 2011, Josie had moved to the office three days a week and we employed Brook to assist during the cooler months to handle the phones and provide operational support. In 2012 we saw the continued growth of our business, doubling gas sales while increasing our fitting and servicing business. Our service division currently covers the area from Port Macquarie all the way to Newcastle and from Forster through to Barrington Tops, while continuing to grow through word of mouth.
