I'm Claire, a mother of two school-aged children, and a professional counsellor. I have previous experience in the mental health sector, working with severe mental illness and psychosocial disability in my early career. I have worked with people across the lifespan, from ages 4 into their late 60's and beyond. My passion lies in supporting children to overcome obstacles, develop life skills and live to their full potential, as well as supporting parents to build their self-care to ensure the best outcomes for the whole family. I provide support and solutions with the best interest of the client at heart. If you or your child would benefit from non-judgemental support, information and education to build the happiest, healthiest life possible, then i'm here for you. I am registered with the Australian Counselling Association (level 1) and adhere to the ethical requirements of registration as a professional counsellor, including ongoing professional development and clinical supervision. I am also trained to facilitate children's mindfulness interventions both individually and in a group setting.

Holistic counselling is a unique form of counselling, focused on a person in their entirety encompassing the mind, body and spirit and is aimed at empowering you to discover and access your own inner wisdom and healing capacity. Many clients benefit from a more traditional counselling setting of the counsellor and client sitting during the session, however, some prefer Walk ‘n talk counselling sessions. A time where you are able to share personal issues in a positive, open and natural environment allowing you to draw in the energy of Mother Nature to lift the mood and improve wellbeing.
