We work with you to tackle worries that are important to you and support you to overcome the negative thoughts and feelings, anxieties, or whatever else might be impacting you feeling good. We work in partnership with you to address the issues, discovering new ways of thinking and acting that will lead to a fresh direction for your life. Sally Hainey is a highly qualified and experienced psychotherapist providing expert services across the Hunter and Central Coast regions. I'm Claire, a mother of two school-aged children, and a professional counsellor. I have previous experience in the mental health sector, working with severe mental illness and psychosocial disability in my early career. I have worked with people across the lifespan, from ages 4 into their late 60's and beyond. My passion lies in supporting children to overcome obstacles, develop life skills and live to their full potential, as well as supporting parents to build their self-care to ensure the best outcomes for the whole family. I provide support and solutions with the best interest of the client at heart. I am registered with the Australian Counselling Association (level 1) and adhere to the ethical requirements of registration as a professional counsellor, including ongoing professional development and clinical supervision. I am also trained to facilitate children's mindfulness interventions both individually and in a group setting.
