I prefer to use the term relationship consultant as a consultant will always situate your expert (family) knowledge with you the client - not me, the ‘counsellor'. Therefor consultant sits better for the models of practice I draw upon in our work together. I am a passionate ‘Narrative Therapist' - as this Australian counselling framework refutes the idea of individuals having internal deficits, or people as being somehow problematic within their own lives. I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in broad based Counselling models & a Master's Degree in Narrative Therapy which informs my practice.
