I have endured personal difficulties and, through self-discovery, holistic healing and with a supportive network, learned how to overcome them. My experiences inspired me to help others realise their own potential through counselling and natural healing therapies. I began my journey by first becoming a reiki healer before acquiring a Diploma of Professional Counselling–majoring in abuse counselling, conflict resolution, child development and effective parenting. With my own wellness hub, my mission is to stand by your side, offering unwavering support and guidance as you carve out the life you've always envisioned. Your journey is my priority, and I'm dedicated to helping you make your dreams a reality.

For over 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from all different paths of life as they navigate their personal healing journeys. I’m a psychotherapist trained in the Hakomi method, with additional training in art therapy, couples counselling, and meditation. I’m here to offer a space where you can explore your emotions without judgment, allowing whatever arises to be felt and processed at your own pace. Whether you're working through deep pain, loss, anxiety, or the challenges of relationships, I bring empathy and understanding to support you. Beam offers a range of psychology and therapeutic services and support including assessment, counselling, family therapy, guidance and advice for children, young people and family groups. Our services are tailored towards the ages of 8-25. We have extensive experience in supporting problems children and adolescents are facing including anxiety, depression, autism, intellectual and learning difficulties, peer pressure and bullying, stress, drug and alcohol misuse, trauma, aggression, social relationships, family conflict and challenging behaviours. We are also NDIS registered and provide services to NDIS participants with an intellectual or mental health disability or impairment. Our existence is built on an idea. A solution to a problem...mental health and wellbeing for children and young people. The solution was Beam - a service built on extensive knowledge in Psychology, Mental Health and wellbeing of children, youth and families. Our first practice opened in July 2016 servicing Newcastle and Lake Macquarie focusing on mental health difficulties such as anxiety, depression, autism and bullying. Our expert team of Psychologists and Practitioners are passionate, experienced, caring and determined to help children and young people live their best life. Our Psychology and mental health expertise lies in a range of difficulties your child, teenager or young adult may be experiencing, and we work together with families to reach the best possible outcome. We aim to help you to understand your strengths and weaknesses in a range of formats, including individual therapy, groups, and assessments. We offer individual therapy with experienced professionals that are focused on helping you to grow in the way you want and are aiming for. We also offer groups as a way to connect with others that are struggling with the same issues as you. Groups can be a more cost-effective way to receive the support you need and can be attended as a stand-alone treatment or as an addition to individual sessions you're attending (here, or with another Psychologist).
