I wanted to add to this sense of peace, so I decided to dip my toe in the water with meditation. I have learnt that meditation isn't just sitting with no noise in your mind but more about bringing the focus back to the breath and letting go of any thoughts that popped in. Slowly I felt less overwhelmed, less stressed and even more in control of my emotions. Being so passionate about yoga, in July 2019 I have travelled to India to complete my 200 hour Vinyasa Yoga teacher training. Upon my return Just Breathe Wellness Studio was created and I started teaching Hatha yoga and Beginners Yoga. In 2020, during the Covid-19 lockdown I completed my 50 hour Yin Yoga teacher training, allowing me to add Yin yoga classes to the studio. I started my Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis and Strategic Psychotherapy in August 2020. This course has been a real game changer for me. I have learnt so much about myself and the processes I was running. After decades of feeling like I was at the mercy of my thoughts and feelings, I have not only learnt but also implemented lots of strategies to give me back control.
