After our 92 year old mum passed away after a short illness I was faced with the prospect of organising her funeral. I was so impressed with Michael from Bowdens Family Funerals. Words can't express how grateful I am to Natasha and Mackay Family Funerals for helping me and my husband getting through a very difficult time. My newborn son passed away in 2004, and Natasha created a beautiful service for him. She helped me choose the most beautiful casket, with little silver doves as handles, and the heartfelt touches she made left me with some very meaningful memories to take with me. She printed a beautiful poem out onto cards for my family and I. She was compassionate and empathetic to the sorrow I was feeling as we laid him to rest. My son was treated like the angel he was, and surrounded with so much love that day. It's been a long time since then, but I was able to take something positive out of what was the most traumatic time in my life. This small family owned funeral home was brilliant to deal with and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. They really did a great job taking care of my Mother's funeral, such consideration and care. They made a difficult time much easier to cope with and handled everything professionally and in a caring manner.
