Dan Vowles the proprietor is one of Australia's most experienced tradesmen who has specialized in all facets of the Motor Trimming trade

during his career.

Starting out as Canvas Hand at Rocklea Canvas in 1984 (Brisbane) , Dan went onto securing an apprenticeship with A&G Auto trimmers located at Annerley on Brisbanes' Magic Mile who specialized in servicing Car Yards.

Dan's and his older brother (also a Motor Trimmer) then bought Brisbane Motor Trimming located at Darra and became specialists in retrims for classic car restorers and modern custom retrims to which some had featured in magazines such as Street Machine and won several trophies at car shows.

Re-locating to Cairns in the early 90's saw Dan working with local upholsters such as Nordic where he specialized in aircraft and also Cairns Upholstery specializing in the luxury boat market. Highlight Jobs were the Achilles II (Port Douglas) and Mustique (Yorkey's Knob)

Dan then went on to partnering with All Alluminium Welding where the specialty was canopies for trailer boats, commercial boats, fly bridge cruisers and utes. Dan has gained a great understanding and experience with the welding trade and can provide a complete welded frame style solution to any requirement to ensure a perfect fit and application.
