The program was first taught in 2002 and opened with 6 students, by the end of 2005 there were 120 baby ballerinas with classes operating six days per week. The program caters for Baby Ballet and Baby Jazz from 2 to 5 years of age. The immense growth attests to the strength of this program. Baby Ballerinas guide 2 to 5 year olds through creative imagery and role-play rather than the technical approach traditionally associated with ballet. It develops an appreciation of rhythm and timing, music, movement and grace during the most receptive time in their lives. Ruedisima Latin Dance Co is a Latin dance company based in Sydney and Newcastle, Australia, running classes and workshops in Puerto Rican Salsa, Cuban Salsa, Argentine Tango, Bachata, Rueda, and other latin dance forms, such as Cumbia, and Merengue. The Ruedisima performance group wows audiences with high class, professional latin dance shows combining stunning movement, exciting choreography and attractive costumes.
