Atlas Sports and Dance Physiotherapy was established in 1998 by Roz Penfold. Having just completed a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy in conjunction with studies at the Australian Institute of Sport, Atlas was created as a space to share patient centred and research driven physiotherapy. This commitment to professional excellence furthered as Roz was awarded the title of Specialist Sports Physiotherapist in 2008, and continues to lead the practice as the Principal with a commitment to evidenced based practice and patient-centered care. Our team is one of the most experienced collectives in Canberra. Whilst the physical location of the practice has morphed from its initial home in Belconnen to Braddon, the focus on providing quality Physiotherapy that is respectful of, and responsive to, individual patient needs and values remains consistent. The practice is now located at 69/30 Lonsdale Street, Braddon and shares reception space with SOULution Yoga and Pilates studio. Even if you don't have access to a gym, our clients can utilise our facilities during operating hours to complete their personalised rehab program.
