At CBD Dental in Wollongong, we offer a broad range of dental care treatments to keep the whole family smiling. In addition to fillings, root canals, dental implants, crowns and bridges, we provide complete teeth cleaning treatments and teeth whitening in the Wollongong and Illawarra areas. CBD Dental Wollongong provides oral surgery for patients, as well as periodontal (gum) disease treatments. At CBD Dental, we have a special interest in children's oral health care. About
The McGovern family has been associated with dental health for over 100 years. Of this we have been in the Illawarra since 1934. We take pride in our work and you can be assured that our dentures are constructed at our premises by Joe or Kim McGovern. The only component that is not constructed at our premises, are the cast metal frameworks associated with dentures that require reinforcement for strength. These are constructed at a registered dental laboratory in Lismore, Australia (No work is sent overseas). It is against the health professionals advertising code (AHPRA) for a practitioner to claim or make a statement that they provide a superior service or product than other practitioners. We are permitted however to advertise what products we use and our dentures are constructed using the SR Ivocap injection system. For our implant over dentures we prefer to use Straumann Dental Implants which can be viewed in the video below on the right.
