CQ Physio Group provide physiotherapy, massage and dietetic services as well as work with a wide range of other allied health therapists under the one roof to provide a holilstic and seamless health service. CQ Physio Group has evolved from a single practice, originally known as Rockhampton Physiotherapy Centre. Rockhampton Physiotherapy Centre had been established for twenty-four years, originally situated in Alma Street and then William Street before expanding to larger purpose built premises at 1 Kent Street, Rockhampton in 2009. The move to Kent Street has been integral in attracting and retaining new physiotherapists to the region, allowing for the provision of a wide range of services, second to none in Rockhampton. The Group employs 17 physiotherapists, a massage therapist and a dietitian and enjoys strong working relationships with our subleasees to enable us to integrate allied health services. This ensures we succeed in our goal of helping people to meet their physical potential throughout life. CQ Physio has 6 practices Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Emu Park, Gracemere, Mt Morgan and Blackwater with physiotherapists who are skilled in the treatment of:- Sporting injury rehabilitation Neck and lower back pain Everyday joint pains Work injuries and work hardening (for Workcover patients a doctor's referral is required) We use mobilisation techniques but do not perform manipulations (i.e. no �cracking') Pulsed ultrasound, heat or ice packs, strapping, interferential therapy or manual traction may be used if necessary for your particular condition Acupuncture/dry needling Therapeutic exercise Pilates Womans health clinic Seniors exercise classes Where an individual is undergoing rehabilitation after a workplace accident or incident, our practices at Rockhampton, Blackwater, Emu Park, Gracemere, Mt Morgan and Yeppoon enables CQ Physio to ensure a seamless transition from initial injury management through to returning to work. All of our physiotherapists are Jobfit trained in both Pre-employment functional Assessments (PEFA's) and Job Task Analyses.
