PoDDSS provides support coordination and behavioural support for people with a disability through NDIS funding. Behavioural support provides structured behavioural assessments under the Disability Act 2006. These assessments offer proactive and reactive strategies, as well as Positive Behavioural Support Plans (PBSP), for those under NDIS funding. This may also involve training of formal and informal supports, providing sensory advice or assisting the primary person to access other communication that supports social skills, independence and progress towards their life goals and aspirations.
