O'Grady Drama Academy has conducted classes in Port Stephens at the Tomaree Primary School Hall for 10 years. Our course not only teaches performance skills, but also aims to promote communication skills and self - confidence,which are becoming more and more important in our modern lives, especially for our children. Many of our students have started with us from 7 years of age and have continued through to Year 12 and also to HSC Drama. Our programme gives the students the opportunity to explore improvisation, scripted acting, writing and the productions. The Academy is a world- wide organisation which started in Australia over 30 years ago. The Principal, Shane Skerly, has guided it's development in the Hunter Region for 20 years. He is the teacher for our classes in Port Stephens on Monday afternoons: Primary 4.00pm - 5.00pm Youth 5.00pm - 6.00pm. Come along, make new friends and learn to act!

The Studio. Performing Arts Academy offers a comprehensive performing arts program, including private music lessons, group sessions, school holiday programs, master classes and artist mentoring programs. We offer lessons for piano, guitar, voice, drums, song writing, group drama classes and musical theatre.
