We waited a while to get the road done but Mackay Earthworx did a great job & the pricing was reasonable. We are on a steep hill so the run off down the hill in heavy rain is amazing & it erodes terribly. Dave suggested reclaimed road asphalt. He agreed to put a couple of minor speed bumps or dips so that water running down the road would be diverted. He also put the nice council style pipe collars that have a flat horizontal base & a protruding vertical wall to help water control & reduce silting. Dave did a full featured job, bob cat, water truck, bob cat, trip truck with asphalt, bob cat, proper road roller... & the result shows it. I asked him to put a large top drain at the top of our hill as a diversion to reduce the water running straight down. It was made wide & low profile so maintenance or fire fighting vehicles could easily cross it. We had some very heavy rain without any wash issues & the drive up is smooth. Now I need to put up No Through Road signs...

Locally owned and operated, Ian Kane concreting service has been supplying superior quality concreting services to Mackay and the surrounding region for more than 24 years. With an experienced team of six, we have the manpower to tackle both small and large-scale concreting projects. Our team are qualified and accredited, with more than 60 years combined industry experience, in conjunction with being worksite health and safety certified. The knowledge and skills developed during this time ensure that each concreting project we undertake will be completed professionally, with the highest standard of workmanship. Ian Kane and his team will perform all of your domestic concreting tasks including house and shed slabs, patios, driveways, stairs, carports and pools. We can work with all types of concrete such as exposed, grey and coloured, covercrete and stencilled. Ian Kane also has a Bobcat and operator to level or clear your site before concrete is laid. Our earthmoving service is competitively priced. We specialise in laying slabs, but we also offer all types of concrete services from domestic to commercial needs. Whether it's a small slab for a garden shed or a huge warehouse floor, we have the skills to get the job done quickly and efficiently every time. Being based in the Mackay region, we understand the environmental conditions and tailor our concreting services to suit these.
