Our school has served the Millaa Millaa community since 1918. We were once a larger school community in the days when there were prosperous timber, dairy and beef industries in the Millaa Milla area. Our town had mechanics, butchers, a baker and a butter factory. Now our student numbers fluctuate, but on average are approximately 65 pupils. We have a stable rural family core and a small number of families that tend to move from year to year. This produces a school with a wonderful environment where the children have pride in themselves and an appreciation for community values.

At Tablelands Family Day Care we aim to provide comfortable, safe, and home based environments for children to learn and grow based on their individual needs. Service areas are: Atherton, Mareeba, Malanda, Kairi, Ravenshoe, Cooktown, Mourilyan, Mirriwinni, Innisfail, Tully, Ingham, Forrest Beach. Based in Tolga our team of educators offer a 1:4 ratio of children to educator to ensure your child gets the specialised attention they deserve. Our childcare services are available before and after school, on school holidays, as casual, part time or full time care, as well as overnight and on the weekends.
