Gold City Solar & Electrical owner Scott Ellison comes from a long line of electrical contractors. Scott's father ran an electrical contracting business in Gympie and his grandfather was an electrical contractor in Brisbane. Scott and his wife Melinda started running their business together 13 years ago and Scott believes their success can be attributed to their emphasis on working as a team. 'Melinda handles the phone calls and all the accounting side of the business and I do the work. We work together as a team,' he said.
