We met whilst studying at the University of Plymouth (UK), with Steve going on to study MSc in Engineering Geology at the University of Leeds. ​Work subsequently took us to Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand before we returned to settle permanently in Australia in 2008, with our sons Harry and Tom. ​The dream of running our own business was fulfilled with us setting up 'NT Geotechnics' in Darwin in 2014. With an ever-increasing workload in Western Australia, we have since changed our name to 'WANT Geotechnics'. We have undertaken numerous projects across the Northern Territory and Western Australia, delivering a diverse range of ground investigations spanning infrastructure, defence, mining, commercial and residential developments, and even space exploration with involvement in NASA's Sounding Rockets Facility in remote Arnhem Land.
