Maritime Warrior, an esteemed ex-service organisation, plays a pivotal role in promoting the mental well-being of veterans and their families. Situated in Hollywell, South East Queensland, they offer distinctive adventure-based activities centred around the region's waterways and coastline. The profound psychological benefits of being immersed in the sea are often overlooked in our fast-paced lives. This groundbreaking project, with its innovative approach, appeals to all, stimulating curiosity and capturing interest. Veterans, irrespective of their backgrounds, can enhance their self-esteem, purpose, and sense of belonging, empowering them to thrive in all walks of life.

Long-term residents of Tamborine Mountain know our facility in Beacon Road by many names - the Croquet Club, the Bowls Club, the Bowlo, the RSL or the Tamborine Mountain Memorial Sports Centre. Today we are simply known as CLUB TAMBORINE. The Club’s Management Committee is committed to positioning the Club as a Club for ALL of the residents of Tamborine Mountain, not just for Lawn Bowls or Croquet players. We are an incorporated not for profit community organisation supporting the residents of Tamborine Mountain. If you’ve never been to the Club, or if you haven’t been there for a while, please drop in to see what we’ve done with the place and what we can offer for a great day or night out. If you’re looking for a venue to come to where you don’t have to fight with Tourists or pay Tourist prices, we’re the place to be! We’re open 7 days per week from 10am, with our restaurant open from Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner.
