Leila holds a current principal's practising certificate and is a registered practitioner of the High Court. Leila is also a Legalwise presenter providing continuing professional development to other lawyers. Her community legal projects include founder of Family Law 101, Australia's family law education platform supporting more than 10,000 separated parties learn how to navigate the family court system. Leila provides a free helpline to First Nations women experiencing DV in Mt Isa (her home area). Leila is an administrator of a national family lawyers platform which provides support to over one thousand family lawyers across Australia.
